Atmos Rocker Chair by Peter Danko Design
Extraordinary from Every Angle:
The Danko Atmos Rocker looks amazing and follows through on its promise of providing the highest level of modern living enjoyment. Shaker influences run throughout elegantly turned arm rests that taper off into legs with just a bit of extension to keep the chair upright, as well as aid ingress and egress, while contrasting joinery serves as a contrasting point of detail worked into the overall graceful shape.
Wooden members in this chair are sourced from FSC certified European Beech, (Forest Stewardship Council), while the banded seat is comprised of surplus automobile seat belts. Along with water based adhesives and finishes, the entire chair is a work of true, sustainable inspiration—beautiful and ergonomically optimized, yet socially responsible besides. And, just like its smaller cousins, (the side chair and arm chair), ply-bent construction means a mere 10% waste is realized from tree to chair, making for a very low impact on the environment relative to the high impact this piece creates for its users.
Danko chairs are made in the United States. Please note that some variation in belt color may occur as supply is aftermarket-sourced.
Please also note that chairs currently made from sustainable European Beech will soon be produced from sustainable, American-sourced White Ash.
